New study published: do cochlear implants improve the language skills of young children with single-sided deafness?

ExpORL Colleagues Tine ArrasJan Wouters and Astrid van Wieringen just published their recent study on whether cochlear implantation is beneficial for the receptive and expressive language skills of young children with prelingual single-sided deafness. The study found that early treatment with a cochlear implant is associated with normal grammar development in young children with prelingual single-sided deafness. It makes for a very interesting read, so check it out!
